Psychotherapy
Psychotherapists work with their clients to positively reorganise negative experiences of themselves or others. In essence psychotherapy is an attempt to heal the "self" when the client is not functioning as well as they would like.
Most insurance companies cover psychotherapy services. Many of them require a referral by your M.D. If you have extended health care benefits, check with your insurance carrier to see if they cover "Certified Psychological Associates registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario"
