Fitness is movement and there is no wrong way to move. However, we can optimize our physical and mental health through specific exercises to increase mobility, flexibility, strength, muscle mass, speed, and more. We can also exercise to reduce pain, stiffness, body fat or weight. Regardless of the fitness goal, it all starts with taking self-responsibility, building habits, and prioritizing one-self. Nutrition is complementary to fitness. There are basic nutrition rules that apply to us all, such as hydrating and eating macronutrients and micronutrients from a variety of sources. But then there are other things to take into account, such as intolerances/allergies, current health status, digestive issue, stress, lifestyle, performance goal, taste, culture and more. This is where a qualified practitioner supports you towards your goals, depending on your level and need.
